Sorry for the slow week of posts, folks. I was in Boston for part of the week, and too busy shoveling lobster into my mouth to get much blogging done (more on that next week). We returned home to Seattle to find that a chill has crept into the air. Fall is coming. Please excuse me while I run outside in a vain attempt to soak up the last remaining rays of summer.

In the meantime, you enjoy these links.

I’m totally digging the artwork of Steve Thomas. In particular, his retro-style Star Wars posters. Awesome.

And here’s a little more space geekery: Sugar molecules have been found in space. It could be a sign of extraterrestrial life, or possibly some sort of space bakery. Either way, I’m excited.

Four words: rainbow origami street art.

Whoa. Transparent animals.

Dog Shaming has had me in stitches all week. Pet owners write their dog’s sins on a piece of paper, and make the culpable animals pose with it.

Like you needed another excuse to take a nap: Learning doesn’t stop when you are asleep.

It’s nearly the snacking hour in my house (okay, fine, it’s always the snacking hour in my house) and I found most of these suggestions of how to make your food awesomer to be absolutely delightful. Others sounded like the brainchildren of drunk college students.

Did you notice how many of my links this week had to do with animals? I think I need a pet. Too bad I’d never be home to take care of it.

Or maybe I just need a snack. That’s probably it.
