At one point in their careers they had sold more albums worldwide than the Beatles! I was shy about my love of ABBA as a teenager but a few years ago, I finally came out of the closet and expressed my true ABBA self, despite the humiliation and torture still inflicted on those of us who admit to being ABBA fans (my friend JoAnn for one). Thank God things are different for the younger generations! They are able to fully and completely express their own personal "Dan and not be dehumanized or demeaned for it. It's people like you that make this world a better place to listen to ABBA and not feel bad about it. Thanks for bringing this to light. You've made my day! Apparently even though it features truly terrible singing, it's one of the most popular movies ever. EVER! DVD sales are thru the roof. THE ROOF! Go figure. Okay I admit it, I loved it too, mostly because who doesn't love looking at Pierce Brosnan for a couple of hours? Sigh. But I did NOT buy the DVD. Yet.
