There is nothing worse than having the bus blow by you when it's cold out and the next one isn't coming for half an hour. Especially when you're standing right there at the stop. But 2 in a row? Every single other person I encountered, from shop owners to museum workers to children playing in the park, were downright lovely. Super friendly, and they all sound like Sean Connery. When I was in high school, a friend and I pretended we were English (or British, I don't remember that other post of yours) and we told some girls we were from Glasgow, England. They believed us. I didn't know about the tour bus when I was there, but when I go back (and I'm sure I will) I'll have a t-shirt made especially for the trip, that says "YES! I want to get on the bus!".....and just let everyone else wonder about it.
