See, I remember a friend from high school’s visiting Italian cousin wanting to stop and take a picture of one of our jails because it was so much nicer than the ones they had there…but I guess conditions inside are better?

No. Is it normal for Italians to give their friends nicknames after their favorite animal? Yes. Not sure when it started. But I haven’t called Pinguina by her real name in years, I think.

Yeah – so you’d probably end up in either a shiny tracksuit with gold embroidery down the side, or skintight jeans and a Bum Athletic sweater. Because Italian couture is good, but Italian street fashion, dear Perron Brother, is weird. Really, really weird.

If I were in Italy right now and was picked up in the clothes I’m wearing right now, I hope I would have the option to wear prison attire. It’s Italian, after-all.
